COUPLERS
Once again, a Sander Engineering part that may look similar to others on the market, but in reality is different when you look closely. Our couplers are heat treated and case hardened in special fixtures we made to insure that the final product is not out of round. The whole point of a coupler is that it must be absolutely straight to maintain perfect alignment to prevent vibration and failure.

COMPLETE DRIVE LINE
A drive line performs many critical functions and can be a lot more important part of your car's performance than you think. Remember, with a close drive line you are doing more than just transferring the power from the engine to the rear end, you are also determining the positioning of the rear end. With the tremendous power being generated today, a drive line must be super strong, accurate and light to perform properly. Just think of the load on the drive line when you see a sprint car do a wheelstand! The whole twisting motion of the rear, as well as the weight of the car, is being taken by the drive line. A Sander Engineering drive line is a totally designed, engineered and precision manufactured assembly. It is designed to position the rear accurately without bending, flexing or twisting. These are the reasons why so many racers are switching to Sander Engineering drive lines. They are appreciating the fact that the same type of engineering and quality that go into Sander torsion bars is also evident in a Sander Engineering drive line.

BIG BALL DRIVE LINES
3002A-1-40" or -41" Drive Line, complete with aluminum big ball and torque tube, includes everything from the motor plate to the rear end face. Specify length desired.

TORQUE TUBES AND BALLS
There is a definite difference between a Sander Engineering aluminum torque tube assembly and others on the market. Other tubes on the market are made of 6061 aluminum, which is gummy and not as strong as a Sander torque tube. The Sander aluminum torque tube is made from 2024 drawn aluminum and is .188" wall. That makes a Sander aluminum torque tube stronger. Other products may look the same, but when you look closely, you will see that a Sander product is unique! All Sander Engineering torque tubes are 3" O.D. with .188" wall (2.625" I.D.).
